Ballerina Dreams

Shortly after Grace was diagnosed with CP, I was running errands in a shopping mall that had a ballet studio. I sat in my car and cried as I watch identical twin girls in their tutus walk across the parking lot. I knew that would never be me. Only one of my girls could ever be a ballerina. Well, maybe I was wrong. I just need to believe in Ballerina Dreams.

Isn't that awesome!!!!!

Awe, I was ballin' before I even watched the video. I can't imagine how you must have felt. It has to be so hard having multiples, knowing one will do certain things that one can't do. But always remember, she will be able to do many many things, they just might have to be modified a little!

Thanks for the inspiring post. I boo-hooed all the way through. I can see Gracie in her ballet tights & leotard... lighting up the stage. You go Gracie Girl! Where do we sign up? love, J

What a great idea, the girls are so happy and proud of themselves. I was pretty bummed when I realized that Elizabeth would never be coordinated to dance. I then had to remind myself that Elizabeth was never destined to dance her father and I are the most uncoordinated awkward people who couldn't dance if our lives depended on it.
I hope I will be able to find something like that here as she gets older. The girls were so happy and their parents so proud.

I have had the same "ballarina" cry in my car.

I bawled watching the video. What an amazing program. Wish they had that here.
