When our trio was born we were given a Bevo hooded towel. Now for those of you not from Texas, Bevo is the University of Texas' mascot...a longhorn steer. In Nov 2005, all of the babies were finally home from the NICU and Kathryn and I decided to try to get a decent picture of all three for our Christmas cards. Just for Abe we took some photos in the UT onsies and Bevo towel. We took hundreds of photos and ended up using some in Santa hats...anyway...
I haven't had the Bevo towel out in a really long time but as I was looking for beach towels, I came across it and decided the kids might like to use it. At first they didn't want to use it but now they all "wanna be the cow" after bath time. I'm sure Abe is thrilled that they called his beloved Bevo the cow. Sorry hon...but it's a cow.

I am a huge UT fan! Love the towel!!!
Love the pics
Hook 'em!
I love the pics...and I won't tell John it's a cow either. He'd probably pass out! :)
You Texans are crazy! Lol It's clearly a cow.
Thanks for memory lane. Wow! how far they have come!!
Love,
Ni
I guess Sophie HAS to go to UT now because she looks so freakin' cute in the cow towel...
Being an OU fan, I still think this is cute.
However, I'd rather they wore a big 'Sooner Schooner' on their heads after bath time.
Well, you really should rethink the color. Red is much more striking, and the horns could actually poke someone's eye!!! GO SOONERS!!!
Those are some adorable kids. I wonder if they make a tiger towel? I must investigate that now.
I wanted to comment on your entry from the 28th--forgive me, I read in chunks these days. You said that you feel the need to tell the doctor how well your child is doing since they aren't walking yet. I do THE EXACT SAME THING. They want to talk about bleed grades and head control and I want to talk about how he eats like a champ and notices every single sound in his universe. To me, he is amazing. Most kids walk--what's so great about that?
