Grace started gymnastics with
Denise at
Special Needs Gymnastics last week. Today was her second session. She loves it and I love watching her do a tuck and then pike position and end with a big "TaDa". You have never seen a bigger smile. As we left as the first session last week, she confirmed it..."Nimnastics is fun!".

You are so lucky to have this cool stuff available in your area.
That smile is the best!! Have a great time at "nimnastics" Grace!!
That would be so cool if we had special needs gymnastics in our area. It is almost like a 2nd session of physical therapy. Go Grace!!!
I loved gymnastics as a kid. I hope that when Charlie is older he can do either that or karate, which was his father's childhood love.
I was reading down a bit--I love The Closer too, but alas I haven't seen it in a while. Anyway, you posed a question about nature versus nurture. After spending five years in schools i think that most kids are basically good, but some are self-destructive. That's out of our hands. They can have the best life and be out to ruin it, or they could have been handed a complete crap fest and have a sparkling personality. We can't control it all. just my opinion!
