Mack is just tall enough now, on his tippy toes, to reach things on the kitchen counter. I try to remember to make sure things that I don't want him to get are pushed back far enough out of his reach. However, sometimes I forget.
I start getting stressed out about MDO the night before. I'm not stressed about the kids being at MDO...I'm stressed about all the preparation to get them there. To help alleviate some of my anxiety, I typically prepare the kids' lunch the night before. Many times I fix macaroni and cheese. The teachers have requested I bring this often, because if Mack doesn't have his own mac and cheese, he will take it from some other child (it is one of his favorite things). So, Monday night I prepared the mac and cheese, divided into three bowls and left it on the counter to cool before putting it in the fridge. I haven't learned yet...I did not leave the bowls out of Mack's reach and he decided he needed a "nack" (snack) before bed. Not only did he need a snack put wanted to divided into as many bowls as possible. Sophie decided to help. I have to get them a play kitchen. They love to "cook".

You know that was somewhat comforting to me. LOL I am glad I am not the only one who hasn't learned yet. Too bad we don't live closer...we could have a stiff drink once a week! (or maybe more lol)
I love the one of Mack licking the green spatula. Priceless. Hope you had another box of MacNCheese to make them for lunch. Yesterday Brad was coming in the house from the garage with a beer (beer fridge is in the garage) and Aubrey grabbed the beer and put it on the kitchen counter then opened the drawer and began looking for the bottle opener. It was too cute her on her tippy toes trying to find the right utensil. Brad said that he was going to quit drinking beer after that. Aubrey is such a fast learner.
Love, Jen
I like the one with Sophie licking the spoon. It makes me want Mac and Cheese. I almost makes me want babies. Mac and Cheese is easier.
I love it, my favorite is the licking of the utensils. That's grannies favorite thing to do. Loved the Christmas pictures, I have carried them around with me to show people. Everytime I see new pictures of Mack like the one of he and sophie on the kitchen floor I adore his hair. This is the first time I could see the back and sides real good. Love Grannie D.
I love how Mack ignores your presence in each photo. He is zoned in on that mac and cheese. hahaha.
Your house looks like so much fun, I am sure each day is filled with new disasters. I can't even imagine the chaos that you deal with hourly (or by the second).
Jacolyn,
I can't even imagine the adventures you must face each day. The pics are priceless:)
